The Epistemological Context for the Ideas of Polish Messianism as Viewed by Stanisław Brzozowski

The paper embarks on an analysis of Stanisław Brzozowski’s views of Polish romantic messianism. Its main purpose is to cast a broader light on the epistemological context of the writer’s opinions in this respect and, furthermore, to make a preliminary attempt at embedding Brzozowski’s standpoint in a broader context of the historical reception of the ideas of Polish messianism. Also addressed is the aspect of philosophical relevance of this position for the current times.
