Instructions for authors
Technical instructions:
- Articles should be written in doc. (or docx) format.
- Font – Times New Roman 14 point; interline 1.5.
- Article length: minimum 9 pages, maximum 20-25 pages, according to guidelines.
- Right hand top of the first page should provide your name, affiliation and ORCID number. Translated articles should include the same data for the translator, placed below the author’s.
- Quotations longer than three lines should be indicated in a new paragraph. No space line between the main text and the quotation. Use double quotation marks for the main quote and the French-style quotation marks « » for quotations within quotations. Font TNR – 12 point, interline 1.5. Editorial work within the quotation marked by brackets (…)
- Shorter quotations remain within the main body of the text in standard form.
- Use italics for: titles of books, articles, films, pieces of music, artworks, etc.
- Use quotation marks for: titles of newspapers, magazines and journals.
- Use the name and surname when it appears for the first time in the text.
- Use hyphen – not dash - for ranges and periods (e.g. pages 3–20, years 1888–1900).
- In the main body of the text, interpunction marks are used after footnote marks.
- Footnotes and Bibliography in Chicago style
- Additional information required to be submitted in a separate file:
- Polish and English language abstracts;
- Keywords in Polish and English (3-5);
- English language version of the title;
- Chicago style bibliography;
- Short biographical note of the author, including the year of birth and email address (translator is expected to provide author’s bio note)
- Agreement to publish email address in printed and electronic version of the journal;
- Signed confirmation that the proposal is an original work that follows all copyright regulations (copyrights as understood in accordance with the Polish law). In case there are two or more authors, they indicate their contribution in appropriate percentage.
- Declaration of providing non-exclusive copyrights to the article to the publisher and licensing the publisher with the right to disseminating its content in all available resources and media.
- Agreement to use personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Implementing of all above regulations is expected prior to submitting your article to the editorial evaluation.
