Osiński Dawid Maria
(University of Warsaw), (born 1981), PhD, associate professor at the Section of Literature and Culture of the Second Half of the 19th century at the Faculty of Polish Studies at the University of Warsaw. He is the author of the monograph Aleksander Świętochowski w poszukiwaniu formy. Biografia myśli (2011) and Pozytywistów dziedzictwo Oświecenia. Kierunki i formy recepcji (2018). His area of interest is literature of the second half of the 19th century, especially the positivist theories of language, positivist poetry (a movement called “poezja postyczniowa” that started after the January Uprising), and the presence of the enlightenment tradition and culture in the literature of the second half of the 19th century.
