Malcolm David

professor of literature, translator, co-organizer of the BETWEEN.POMIĘDZY festival of literature and theatre. He taught at the University of Gdańsk for twenty-eight years. He is author and co-author of books on Jean Rhys, Ian McEwan, Graham Swift, and John McGahern, and author of a study of British and Irish short fiction. He has translated into English work by Stefan Chwin, Julian Tuwim, Jerzy Jarniewicz, and Ilse Aichinger. In October 2018, he was “professeur invité” at the École Normale Supérieure in Paris.
