(University of Warsaw), (1972), a professor at the University of Warsaw, a staff member of the Faculty of “Artes Liberales”. She obtained the majority of her degrees basing on works concerned with Portuguese literature; she has published inter alia the books Współczesna proza portugalska (2000), Terytorium a świat. Wyobrażeniowe konfiguracje przestrzeni w literaturze portugalskiej od schyłku średniowiecza do współczesności (2003), Pokusa pustyni. Nomadyzm jako wyjście z kryzysu współczesności w pisarstwie José Saramago (2005).
