Łączyńska Klaudia

is an assistant professor in the Institute of English Studies, at Warsaw University, where she teaches English literature and literary theory. Her research interests include literary theory, metaphysical poetry, early modern drama, Renaissance rhetoric, and philosophy of language in the seventeenth century. In 2016, she published a monograph on Andrew Marvell’s poetry (Echo i Narcyz. Rzecz o języku upadłym w poezji Andrew Marvella, 1621–1678), which focuses on the “echoing” quality and patterns of repetition and refl exivity in his poems. She is currently working on the first Polish translation of Andrew Marvell’s country house poem Upon Appleton House, which is going to be published at the end of 2020. E-mail: klaudialaczynska@wp.pl
