Kokot Joanna
(University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn), (born 1956), PhD hab., Prof. UWM. Her areas of interest include English literature at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, especially detective and horror literature; English modernist literature, works of J.R.R. Tolkien, G.K. Chesterton and Rudyard Kipling. She has published articles on short stories by M.R. James, J.S. Le Fanu, Algernon Blackwood, William Hope Hodgson and novels by Arthur Machen, Arthur Conan Doyle, Agatha Christie, Robert Louis Stevenson, John Dickson Carr and Bram Stoker, as well as on literary translation (A.A. Milne, Lewis Carroll, J.R.R. Tolkien).
