Kaźmierczak Marta

(University of Warsaw), (born 1982), PhD, assistant professor at the Institute of Applied Linguistics at the University of Warsaw. Her areas of expertise are Russian and English studies, as well as translation studies. Her interests focus on literary translation (particularly its cultural aspects), intersemiotics and reception (e.g. publishers’ paratexts). She is the author of the monograph entitled Przekład w kręgu intertekstualności. Na materiale tłumaczeń poezji Bolesława Leśmiana (2012), as well as over thirty scientific papers and several entries in the online encyclopaedia Sensualność w kulturze polskiej (IBL PAN), all regarding translation.
