(1962) – psychologist, professor of social sciences at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology at the Polish Academy of Sciences. Head of the Centre for Research on the Holocaust. Together with Jacek Leosiak she provided academic supervision over the gallery “Zagłada” [Holocaust] at the Museum of the History of Polish Jews “Polin” in Warsaw. She published, inter alia, Jest taki piękny, słoneczny dzień… Losy Żydów szukających ratunku na wsi polskiej 1942–1945 (history) (2011), and (in collaboration with Jacek Leosiak) a new, reedited, revised, amended and expanded edition of the book publication Getto warszawskie. Przewodnik po nieistniejącym mieście (2013, third edition in preparation) and of a critical edition of the source texts. Coeditor (with Jan Grabowski) of a two volume publication and one of the contributors to Dalej jest noc. Losy Żydów w wybranych powiatach okupowanej Polski (history) (2018), coeditor of the most recent publication of the Centre Oto widać I oto słychać. Świadkowie Zagłady w okupowanej Polsce (1924).
