Curyłło-Klag Izabela
PhD, teaches in the Institute of English Studies at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków. Her research interests include: British and Irish fi ction, modernist art, dystopian studies, and the intersections between literature, history and culture. Her PhD, on representations of violence in early modernist fi ction, came out in book form in 2011. She has co-edited several volumes of critical essays, and published articles on modern and contemporary literature. Her current academic project is a comparative study of Witkacy and Wyndham Lewis. She is in the editorial team of the Witkacy! journal, and is a member of various academic associations (e.g. The Witkacy Institute, Wyndham Lewis Society, MSA, EAM, Utopian Studies Society). She is also Secretary of PASE.
