(Cardinal Wyszyński University in Warsaw), (born 1946), MD, PhD hab., Prof. CWU, Polish Studies scholar, poet, prose writer, playwright. He is a member of the Stowarzyszenie Pisarzy Polskich (Polish Writers’ Association) and PEN International. He has published nearly 30 books (including books of poetry, collections of short stories, novels), for example: Namiot ośmiu wierszy (1975), Ludzki wynalazek (1978), Wilgoć (1997), Za kobietą tren (2001, 2006, 2017), Opaska gazowa (2004), Park (2011), Schody (2015), Proszę spać (1978), Raz jeden jedyny (2007), Himalaje (1979), Czapki i niewidki (1980), Śpiący w mieście (1983), Diabeł na placu Zbawiciela (1990). He is the author of numerous scientific (both medical and linguistic) works, for example: Wielki słownik frazeologiczny języka polskiego (2003), Nowy szkolny słownik frazeologiczny (2004), Wielki słownik skrótów i skrótowców (2007).
