Pawłowska-Jądrzyk Brygida

(Cardinal Wyszyński University in Warsaw), PhD hab., professor of Cardinal Wyszyński University in Warsaw, the Head of the Section of Intersemiotic Poetry and Comparative Media Studies. She is a co-founder of the cultural studies speciality “Media w kulturze” and remains its head. She is a co-author and the director of a scientific journal entitled Załącznik Kulturoznawczy. She is also a member of the Division of Intersemiotic and Intermedial Research (Faculty of Polish Studies at the University of Warsaw). She is an interdisciplinary literature scholar. She specializes in poetry and semiotics of modern culture passages (especially literature, film and advertising). She has well-established scientific output. She published the following monographs: Sens i chaos w grotesce literackiej. Od “Pałuby” do “Kosmosu” (2002), Uczta pod Wiszącą Skałą.
