Welizarowicz Grzegorz

(University of Gdańsk), PhD, assistant professor at the Institute of English and American Studies at the University of Gdańsk. He teaches classes on American culture, literature and geography. His research interests include Chicano, Native American, Latino and African American literature and culture, physical and cultural geography, the history of the Southwest Borderlands in the USA, decolonial theory, genocide studies, the early history of California, American drama and theatre, American music and musical landscapes, new studies on race, and others. He is a member of the Polish and European Association for American Studies. He has participated in conferences in Poland, the USA, Romania, Spain, Austria and Cuba.
