Skonecka Anna
(Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań), MA, teacher of Latin American literature and translation at the Institute of Romance Philology and a PhD student at the Department of Iberian and Latin American Literature of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. She is working on the doctoral thesis on Ibero-American literary studies titled La (des)colonización de la condición femenina en la novela chicana contemporánea. Her research interests include the issues of contemporary Chicana literature, Latin American decolonial thought and transculturalism, which have been the topics of her performances at Polish and international congresses, as well as of her scientific articles. Among her publications are the works: La transculturalidad en la literatura fronteriza: el problema de code switching y sutraducción (2016) and “This land was Mexican once/ Was Indian always/ and is./ And will be again”. El papel de la memoria colectiva en la formación del discurso feminista chicano (2017), where she discusses the hybrid literature of Latin American writers living in the United States.
