Wasilewska Diana
PhD in the history of art (Adam Mickiewicz University), MA in the Polish philology (Nicolaus Copernicus University), completed the postgraduate course in the Reportage Laboratory (University of Warsaw). Currently, she works as an assistant professor in the Department of Arts at the Pedagogical University of Kraków. She concentrates primarily on the artistic critique of the interwar period, with particular emphasis on the rhetorical aspect of its language.
She is an author of two scientific monographs on art criticism (2013; 2019) and co-author of the book The History Lesson of Jacek Kaczmarski (Demart 2012). She has published articles in many monographs and magazines (including “Quart”, “Ikonotheka”, “Aesthetics and Critics”). She was also a scholarship holder of the Lanckoroński Foundation (2009) and the head of the NCN grant in the Sonata program (2015-2018).
