Paryż Marek
(University of Warsaw), (born 1972), PhD hab., Prof. UW, head of the American Literature Department at the Institute of English Studies at the University of Warsaw. He is the editor of scientific volumes, and the author of numerous articles. He is the author of books Figures of Dependence, Figures of Expansion: Representation of the Postcolonial and Imperial Experience in the Discourse of American Transcendentalism" (2009), Social and Cultural Aspects of madness in American Literature: 1798–1860 (2001).
